Learning Wicca
Welcome to the Village of Lothloriens Wicca 101! I have designed this school to accommodate my onslaught of emails I get each year for people requesting more guidance and schooling. I have designed this school to be a self-paced 6 month course into the basics of Witchcraft. Each months begins with a "Week Discussion" where the basics for that month are laid out, then the required readings to accompany that month. The month is concluded with an essay you can place into your Book of Shadows.To use this section, begin with month 1. Read the discussion and let it sink in for a week or so. See how it applies to the way you are living you life. Get into the suggested readings for the next 3 weeks. Reflect on how these readings relate to the discussion. Finally, on the 4th week, do the required essay. This is for your own benefit. You can place it in your Book of Shadows if you like. You may (if you choose) also email it to me for feedback.
Upon completing your first month to your satisfaction, continue onto month 2 and so on. This is 100% your own pace. There is no grading or on-line class to take. This is only my suggestion to get you moving on your way into Witchcraft.

Listed below are the discussions for your next 4-8 months of study. These discussions are an overview of the goals for the month and some basic concepts in my own words. Use these concepts as the foundations as you read the strongly suggested readings below the content for each month. I realize we do not all have the money to get these books. Please check with other members of the site and see if you can get copies. Also, check with your local library. If you do need to purchase books for this class, I want you to know that 6% of your purchase goes to funding this website (if you use the link I provided to Amazon.com). It isn't my intention to get the most expensive books out there for you, but the ones with the best material for a great start into Wicca.
